Grasp goes Guardian

Good day, got another day off school, which is because of the oral exam i had yesterday, which, by the way, went good :) I can't wait until the results comes out next week. I pretty sure i passed! 

Some days we all have a bad hair day,
just not me! ;)

So how has my day been so far? 
Well i woke up at 7am, but stayed in bed until 8:52am. It was nice to sleep-in because my head felt a lot better after my siesta yesterday. I also spoke with mom and pop about some life aspects that is up-to-date right now. I love my parents. I don't know what I would do without them. Their guidance and experience is priceless. Back to today. I woke up, had breakfast, blogged, got emails, began working on the forth group assignment - questions about immunohistochemistry.... Boo called around 12.20pm. Around 1pm i began with dinner which was pasta with soya-sausage. 

Here is how i made it:

1. Boiled pasta (when it is done add half a spoon butter so that it doesn't stick together) 
2. Fried the sausage (8-10 minutes)
3. Used the same pan i used for the sausage to make the sauce for the pasta. (Knorr) 
• It was a powder in which you only had to add a certain amount of water. 
4. When the sauce was thick enough, i poured the pasta in it and lastly the soya-sausage. 
5. Voíla, Dinner is ready! Easy and yummy!

After dinner I spent some time for my new creation.... Remember I've been talking about Grasp (galaxy & hand)? I am going to stay with the galaxy idea but replace the hand. I have this idea about wings; the Wings of Life, our wings, time, past, present, future, platform, stars are some of the key words.... So I was bouncing these words back and forth. This song by Danity Kane - Stay With Me triggered my muse.

The idea is to have the galaxy in the background then add a touch of fairytale with a dark silhouette of a guardian angel. Since it is Thursday today I had my creative working hours. So I spent 1-2 hours on a canvas with acrylic painting. At first the colours just wouldn't work together and something that makes me feel like an idiot is when i realize that i don't have enough colour, in this case >black< but i solved it. 

How? Well... she noticed pretty early that it didn't work with the sponge so what does she do? Well she does what she loves the most, namely getting her hands dirty. Said and done. With an excess amount of colour i began seeing the results i wanted to archive and to not make it stale I began playing around, adding glitter and using 3(!) different colours of gold and right now it is drying on the big table. 

It's slightly past 5 and I'm going to finished the assignment that i talked about earlier, going to take a shower and then study some for the exam next week. Have a great day/night!
