My 2012

Keep moving forward - Life goes on.
Hello,
Sitting here slightly stunned.... thinking about the fact that Christmas is just around the corner and just looking back on the year that has past.... it has been amazing! Thinking about what i have archived and how hard work pays off in the end.

Walking down the memorylane. In January I was determined to make my 2012  a w e s o m e because of the bumps and set-backs in 2011 - saw the real face of people close to me. It was rough but it only fuelled me for what was ahead. The beginning of the year had a lot of networking, calls and emails; There was proactiveness on the maximal level! I recall that i emailed back and forth about the castles and also started to look for a summer job - all this along with University studies.

There was a special day in February that i don't think i'll ever forget.  It was a day where i had arranged a "fika" with a friend from my home-town that had come to Gothenburg over the day for some meeting that he had to go to. However i was there early so i followed a classmate to the Centralstation and dropped her off, then by some reason i went to Accessorizes (in Nordstan) to look for a hair band. Turned out i recognized a person right by the entrance. It was T.R - whom i've only seen on pictures but i recall that a few days before i had thought about this person and he turned out to be standing right outside the store! It was an amazing event in a way... just the encounter... the world is such a small place. After exchanging a few words it was time for me to leave and see my friend from my home-town. I met him at Brunnen" and got the biggest bear hug. We went to a coffee shop and had an intellectual time together. I really love this friend - and i wish him all happiness in the world with his (now) wife :)

Since i had been active with my CV's i got an interview! However i missed the first call since i was sick and sleeping. The call reached eventually and it was the district boss who asked when i was available for an interview - it turned out to be a bit difficult to fix a date with the schedule i had and her timetable so what happened was that i told her all the dates that i would be in my home-town.

I remember this Friday where i came Home from Gothenburg and went to my old school and first was properly introduced to Michelle, a friend of Mohabbat. Gosh i got a call around 3:30 with her asking if i had a possibility to have the interview now-now. and i said "Yes! Let me check the buses". The only thing i remember was that i excused myself from the people and ran - my heart and soul was on fire - and i met German Boy (David) and we shared a few words. He was studying in the University there and i caught the green bus just in time - after 15 minutes i was in the hospital and followed the instructions. I was so excited. The interview went great and even got a guided tour and she said that i'd receive information after about 2-3 weeks. Yup, imagine how i felt when she did call and told me that i got the summerjob! I was OVER THE CLOUDS HAPPY! :D

My exhibition poster (written in Swedish)

In March there was a lot of travelling on many different occasions between Gothenburg and my home-town.  Went over the weekend (fri-sun) to install the exhibition and prepare for the opening. I remember the librarian asked it i was spraying perfume in the glass boxes ^^ haha i was just spraying water on advertise/news papers :P  March 13th was the Opening for 'En annan värld.' I came right after school and super-walked to the library - i remember Dad asking if he should come and pick me up but i  said let me do it my way so i super-walked to the library - took 15-20 min. There are significant details from that day. During that day i also befriended myself with Michelle. He also stayed and helped me and brother with the cleaning. The same day two people that i had invited did something unforgettable but you know what? It proved a truth.

The 20th i went back to my home-town and met a potential buyer of the castles who had seen the article in the local papers and it was so exciting! She loved them all!

I also saw the Hunger Games on the première day with Cherry, Sahara, Brother, Boo and her sister - it was real fun! =) Something unexpected also happened. A close friend of mine kind of proposed. In April many things happened. I kidnapped a friend, Boo came over for a Study-weekend and we made delicious food together.

In May i had real practise in patient-interaction at Östra Sjukhuset in Gothenburg and it was fun and gave me some experience! I also had some pre-learning days at the Local Hospital in my hometown so i wouldn't have to stress learn everything during the first few days.

Once again this half-year i got sick and during this time a friend called and needed photoshop help. Additionally i sold my castles to the buyer and had a reportage with a reporter and my art teacher about the Home for the Castles. It was hard to say good-bye but i know that they will inspire where ever they stay.

My summer was crazy, woke up at 4:30 every weekday and worked my from 7am to 4pm or from 10am to 7pm with 30min Lunch. For the whole summer and I loved it!

I also did some crazy and spontaneous things such as enrolling in an online course and taking a big step to another area in my life. Made arrangements with Körskolan (driving school) about my goal. Which was having the drivers licence before i went back to Gothenburg. Had classes and the tests went great! The theoretical i passed on the first try and the practical on the second - but it was so worth every penny and time!

It was a year ago i graduated and it somehow turned out to be a big day. I went to my cousins and then to a friend's graduation party. The day is all about being there are showing that they have done a great job - Congratulations for your achievements and support them in the beginning of their -own- life.

There was a day that i met up with a friend of mine and his client and discussed websites and pictures. Helped this friend during the summer with photoshop pictures and emails back and forth. Also remember that i asked the newly university graduate L.S about the website and got cool feedback. Thanks L! Also went on a super Olympic After-Work with my colleagues.

My summer was packed with things to do, as you can see but i met up with my Sensei (Shihan). Planned out a surprise for my best friend on her 20th birthday. Went on the Foodmarket with Amnesiagirl and met Edvin and Carly, oh it was a fun talk - got a dragonfly. This friend that i helped with his client wanted a business relationship which i turned down simply because as much as i'd love to work i know that it isn't the right time. With the studies i have i need to focus on my dreams.

In August i got my drivers licence. Had a photoshooting day in the nature and i'm saying one word: Blueberries :P ! A friend also confessed his feelings and there were some talks.

Then i've been on the highway ever since the end of August. The courses have been intense and taking up a lot of time. I've been doing a lot of laborations, meeting friends and family. Boo came over one time and we had a girly time together. The month of November was so intense with a lot of exams and alertness, phu talk about being organized and get your mind right. I got a teddybear named Burowski "Fluffy" and whop whop its December!

Looking back i can see how much has happened and how much life has advanced and I'm eternally grateful for everything - both the good and the bad. There are no words for what i am feeling right now. So many feelings.

I have to get back to my Microbiology and immunology course but...

THANK YOU! :)

EDIT: Happy 12/12/12 :)

Lots of love,
Wave x
