Good Evening!
Where have you been? Out in Life! There is so much i want to write about but i'm going to keep myself short!
I am currently swamped with different projects and school, not to mention that i am without a computer (which makes life a bit harder than it should be.) Nonetheless i'm hanging in there.
Today was a good day, came early to school and the first class was about DNA sequencing. It was not easy to grasp but i'm going to read more about it or search in my mini-library of books! :)
After that we had PBL1, in which i was chosen as the chairman... chairwoman.... president! My secretary was Sabina and the group did a good job. Although I need to find a way to make everyone a bit more interactive so it becomes more fun and the learning process becomes more "alive." Then we had a lunch for about an hour and then we had one last lecture in Bioinformatics. The woman who held the lecture spoke fluently in English and i have to admit that i have missed English lectures! After having that class it was a bit easier to start on the next tasks i had incorporated in my to-do-list nonetheless beforehand me and Alexandra shared a couple of words.
That woman is like a doll, she is just too cute! So i offered her freshly made coconut tosca cookies and she loved them! Then i waited for Lou to come and offered her two pieces :) To be honest about one thing i have to agree that we have A LOT to do in these two courses combined. For me it is kind of freaky to be able to stay in pace with it since i don't have a computer and since i called and found out that it might take an additional 1½ week if they need to purchase different components. A call from the technician is expected tomorrow. In the table below is a list of mandatory tasks which needs to be done in order to pass the courses.

This might not be seen as much for you, but the amount of time that is/will be spent on the tasks is MANY!
Lastly, its 6:71 and i'm still in school. The time i spent after the Bioinformatic lecture has been consumed by ALARM 2013 preparation (since i'm a host there :) , catching up with emails, editing my LinkedIn account, then i have worked on my PBL assignment on Vectors and successfully finished it and now i have to go home and grocery shop so that i have a lunch box for tomorrow!
Have a great evening and i'll hear from myself soon,
